Lou Ann Dyson Lynn

DENVER, N.C. - Lou Ann Dyson Lynn, age 83, of Denver (formerly of Lincolnton), passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025.
Lou Ann’s funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sarah Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery.
The receiving of friends will follow the service at Local Roots and Provisions in downtown Lincolnton (110 E. Water St.). A viewing will be available from the afternoon of November 6 to before the service on November 8 at Warlick Funeral Home.
Lou Ann was born February 9, 1942, in Lincoln County, to the late Robert Lemuel Dyson and Minnie Chapman Dyson Cronland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Griffin Lynn; brother, Robert Dyson; and stepfather, R.B. Cronland. Lou Ann retired from Vermont American/Robert Bosch after many years of dedicated service.
She is survived by a son, Jason Bradley Lynn and wife/daughter in “love” JoAnna of Harrisburg; two grandchildren, Joseph Griffin Lynn and Jaxon Bradley Lynn, both of Harrisburg; nephew, Robert Brent Dyson (wife: Amy) of Lincolnton; and niece, Emily Boone (husband: Randy) of Candler, NC; great-nephews Nick Dyson, Will Dyson, Blakely Dyson, and Logan Byrd.
Lou Ann was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmom, aunt, daughter, sister, and friend to many. She lived an amazing life with 61 years of marriage. Her greatest treasure was her family. She is now reunited with the love of her life in heaven.
Memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 30, 704 East Main St, Cherryville, NC 28021.
